My Diesel was already named when I adopted him, wanted to change his name but the only names which were similar were Teasel & Weasel, so we stuck to Diesel even though I think its chavy.:D

Is this the American Dobe you spoke of on an earlier post that was massive, its possibley a warlock which is an extra large Dobermann with health issues.

No I wasnt there, not showing much this year due to finances, always keep abreast of the results though! :D
 
So will you be spaying her now or waiting til she gives birth and euthanasing the pups as they come out as you have said before if your rescue policy?

There is not enough mention of BIG PAWS for my liking so dont want one!! :)

YES! Lol! I can ask more money for his stud fee to any bitch put under his nose as although he's not proven he did win Best Dog yesterday, along with he numerous previous showing success plus look at that face (gorm!! lol):

He does have bloody BIG PAWS doesnt he!! DG commented that Flora had BIG PAWS once but they are nothing compared to Stans BIG PAWS, think of the wonderful BIG PAWED cross he could make with caylas chin! :D

Warlock, seriously? Fab name! I think it's more likely a huge European, not American (mate would buy anything that's cool!). She has no idea about dogs and gave away her Lhasa Apso (sp) because it kept escaping through a hole in the fence. Mental! Fix the fence!

Warlock from memory was an exceptional large Dobermann(American) and was used to breed extra large Dobes, nowdays anyone that says they have a warlock is either telling porkies or they have been sold a pup.:D The original warlocks had awful health issues and temperment problems but maybe that was down to the numpties that had them.

If your friend ever decides to get rid of her Dobe tell her to pass it on to a breed rescue who will take it without question and rehome carefully with the right owner.
 
They are an exceptional high energy dog that needs a lot of exercise, they also need consistent training as they are the sort of dog to get into trouble. They are often dog aggressive and so need lots of socialisation and are a lot of hard work. If your friend is committed they are amazing intelligent dogs but they will take the p*** big time with anyone who is weak and thats why they end up in rescue.
