I am looking at one of their waterproof coats. Not really come across much of their stuff before....is it good quality- or does anyone have one of these?

I desperatly need a blouson style coat which MUST be waterproof i have a fantastic musto snug blouson which has always been waterproof- although now they only seem to be shower proof and the fabric is different.

Any recommendations please?
 
Never heard of Jack Murphy. I like Musto, but to be honest i have never found them to be waterproof, despite what they claim. I have a waterproof coat made by Schumacher that is completely waterproof. Only downside, it is quite heavy.

tracey01- i have a snug blouson which i have had for years but the new ones are a softer fabric and can not be waterproof whereas mine hs been 100% waterproof since i have had it. They do seem to make them very similar for sailing so am trying to find one through a sailing site.

I don't want anything overly bulky/heavy or hot as i have a puffa type coat which is great when it is cold but it is not waterproof!
 
I have a long Jack Murphy coat, it is so NOT waterproof, and the lining is sort of bigger than the outside so I look like a puffball where it is hitched up. I wouldn't buy another TBH

I have a Jack Murphy fleece coat that I got for £18 in the bargin basement of my tack shop. It's windproof, waterproof and warm and it's absolutely brilliant. I washed it in NikWax which hasn't affected it, love it!
 
OH wouldnt buy anything else, he works in his all day and is always warm and dry.
Has had 3 the oldest of which he has used for 6 years, ok its now on its last legs but still useful for clipping in.
Good value for the money
 
I've got the Jack Murphy blouson, had one before but it got too big so sold it on ebay. Bought another one last week, it's a fab coat, very waterproof and warm!
