Well its official now, his previous owner has sent me his passport and a letter accompanying it stating that she is handing him over to me and in the eyes of the law I am his legal owner!!!

So in order to celebrate - the rugs are off, the sun is shining and Jack is settling in very well.....

Nope! Been in West Sussex and East Sussex and Yorkshire all his life.... he must have a clone!!!

Lochpearl.... he was on loan to another forum member and he reared out on a hack so in the interests of her welfare she wanted to send him back.... owner did not have room and was of the opinion that "if" he was dangerous he would have to be pts.... so I offered two options.... grass livery him at my field if she paid the rent and then had him back when she had the room or give him to me!!! She chose option two..... and his passport and letter signing him over has just arrived in the post!!!

He is now having some chill out time in the field and then he will be assessed to see "if" he is a rearer.... if he is, we already have a companion home for him..... if he isn't, well who knows......

oh I did wonder as I had seen the posts about him rearing. He is absolutely stunning and well done for your part. Keep us updated as it is always nice to hear a successful (sp) story x

From his general demeanour I reckon he can be a bit of a live wire!!! lets hope the updates are not posted from the local hospital!!! I'm too old to bounce now!

When I saw Jack - The latest! and read the post I wondered if it wasthe same Jack, what a nice lady you are and must be a big relief for the forum member too

The sexy grey is Womble..... He is another "lets save it from being shot" project!!! Had him three years now... he blew a tendon racing and never really had any proper rehab, apart from box rest, so has a nice bowed tendon.... however he has been sound since being turned out all those years ago and is really ready to go off and do something which is in the pipeline..... His racing name was Silver Emperor for those interested..... (thank god you didn't see the other side of him, his mane is past his shoulder!!!!)
