I have an old Just Togs BP, the level 3 sort suitable for 'all' horsey situations, inc. x-c etc. It is due to be replaced soon so I know I'll need to go and get another fitted. However in the mean time I'm trying to order a reflective jacket for road riding.

I'm usually about a size 10 (34'' 'curves') but with the BP on I measured myself at a 42'' chest! The jacket needs to go over the top of everything to do it's hi-vizing so not sure how big to go... Does anyone know how many sizes they usually go up to get a jacket that will go over a BP? And if BPs have got any thinner over the last 6 yrs or so?

Thanks!

I usually just go one size up. I'm usually a size 8....but have size 10 jackets to get my BP underneath. I'm pretty sure my Charles owen Ultralite BP doesn't add that many inches to me!

Thanks heather_bambi, that sounds more like what I was imagining. :-) I have a 'small' rowing splash top that fits over my BP fine and couldn't believe I'd really need a 'large' reflective one.
