Hi all

I have been without my Barney now for 4 months

however today I went to see a Jack russel who is a 7 year old and needs a home, for the first time I felt that twinge of needing him and have made the decision to have him on trial and I am picking him up from the vets on sat

To me he looks like a cut and shut, wider at the front that back end, rather a long back, scruffy with that love me cute face

So I have had GSD's, collies but never a Jack, any tips please, he had his nuts off 10 days ago

I am really very excited

Ps Any comments on James Wellbeloved foods too as have been recommended to feed this but have no experience of this food?

V exciting getting a new dog! Good luck with him and hope you are a match for each other. Can't offer you any advice on a JRT but my last rescue was a 7yr old spaniel. Lots of love and attention and routine seemed to do it for her. JW foods however work for my dog, he like all the flavours and will eat them wet or dry (when he manages to break into the biscuit bin!). He fit, healthy, been the same weight for years, shiny coat etc etc and best of all has never had doggy breath!

I pick him up on sat

He is very shy, not sure on his past but he was going to be put down by the owners and the vet said no, bless him, he needs lots of love
