I was going to go as I am involved with Sport Endurance anyway ( editor of Staffs Newsletter) but we are moving yards this weekend. Shame as I was looking forward to it. Next one I plan going to though is the one at Cheshire View, Barthomley next month so if anyone on here is going to that one and wants to say a hello it would be nice to
Nice to hear you are going though Rach and I hope you and your friends have a fantastic time x You will find the people that go on the rides and the organisers very friendly. A few are competitive on the competitive rides but nice with it though and the pleasure riders I have met on rides I have ridden and helped out on have all been really nice.

shame you are not going Caz (would have been nice to meet you) when is the chesire view one? may be able to go that one if the weather is ok and my friend (who has the box) isnt too busy

I know I am disappointed myself but events have conspired against us to be honest. I have just returned from hols so a bit broke at the moment. We are moving the lads at the weekend and in hindsight it is a good job we didn't decide to hire a box out as it looks like at least one of the horses that would have been going probably isn't now so we could have been left with a big bill for box hire. My big lad has to go in a box as he won't go in a trailer as he is too big. We mainly stick to rides we can ride to. The one at Cheshire View is about 5 miles away and last time we both rode them there which was good fun too. My new place is only just around the corner from my present yard so distances won't be changing that much at all. The Cheshire ride is on Sunday 21st September ( details can be found on the Sport Endurance website)
It would be great to meet up at that one Rach and even the Apedale one which is even nearer for both of us I think? The Apedale one is in December on the 14th and you and/or your horse can wear fancy dress on that one as it is a Christmas ride. Last year I got into trouble with the family as it was held on my daughter's birthday and I was late back as I had a few problems such as Doug taking off, a stirrup coming off and then him playing up when I tried to remount at the track that leads up past my home. I'm hoping he is on best behaviour for that one but I have told my partner he is coming with me on Mcfly this time lol.
