My thoughts are with your family and your boys, you did a great job of making sure that they would be looked after in your absence, even though many didn't see it that way.
You have brought the dreaded Cervical Cancer to light and for that I commend you.
Maybe I'm getting cynical in my old age but does anyone else think it wraps things up too "nicely" that she died on mothers day? Doesn't mean its not tragic that she had died now however. I really hope the coverage drops off.
It is very sad when someone dies so young. Let's hope what happened to her will encourage young people to have smear tests. I'm sure everyones thoughts are with her family.
Yes mine too, I think it's very sad anyone so young has died leaving a family.
I do think she has left a legacy of benefit to the young women of today, because there can be few who aren't now aware of the danger of cervical cancer left untreated.
I would though like to say I hope people suffering this horrible illness haven't been upset by the speed of her cancer's progression, my sister was diagnosed ten years ago with Non Hodgkins' in it's various levels then later uterine cancer which spread.
She is still enjoying life 10 years on despite not being in perfect health, so not everyone ends up like poor Jade.
My overwhelming thought today is that she will be out of pain, and of admiration for the way she dealt with the fact she was dying, putting her family first by securing their future despite obviously feeling so very ill herself.
R.I.P.
Good night and God Bless Jade. You weren't perfect, you made mistakes (like all of us) but you approached your death with great courage and dignity. Not one word of self pity. You did your best by your boys as well.Wish you could have had a longer and happier life.

Eh? Not sure what you are getting at, but no - I don't think it wraps things up nicely. I think it is hearbreaking that her boys have probably been making cards at school and have woken up to be told that they can't give them to mummy because she has died. Nothing at all nice about that.
RIP Jade - you had a dreadful start in life, and had happiness snatched away from you in the cruellest way. I liked you, as did many others, for your sheer naturalness.
It's only a short while since Jade first made it to the headlines, then she again made it in a much sadder way, then she dies on Mother's Day. I cried when i heard on the radio this morning (i was already missing my Mum).
Let's remember - to continue Cruiseline + Divasmum + other friends' nice comments about Jade - i think she was a special lady, gave us a high-profile warning about cervical cancer, to which she paid the ultimate price.
Her legacy goes far beyond leaving money to her sons, she also leaves a legacy of warning all ladies to have regular check ups, and consequently she has saved many lives. (I have a dear old friend whose cervical cancer was diagnosed and treated, and thankfully she is still with us)
That's what i will remember brave, outspoken Jade for, and i wish you love and light, and may what you've done help your family to cope. Thank you. With love, BS x
