Maybe I'm getting cynical in my old age but does anyone else think it wraps things up too "nicely" that she died on mothers day? Doesn't mean its not tragic that she had died now however. I really hope the coverage drops off.

I think I'm probably a bit cynical too, because that's exactly what I thought too. Don't jump on me guys - it's very sad and all that, but the whole media circus was created to raise as much money as possible for her boys - nothing wrong in that at all, and hats off to her and all that.
But I did wonder this morning whether it was all just a bit too contrived - the public is extremely kind and forgiving and following the out pouring of grief on this forum alone is amazing, but the whole purpose behind the media coverage was to maximise public sympathy to encourage money for the boys. Who would have known if she had actually died on Saturday night, morning, or Friday night?
So I'm with Ezme in my cynicism. Doesn't make it any less sad for her family and friends - just that I don't trust Max Clifford not to create the most dramatic story he can - that's his job, and he's very good at it. The cleverest thing Jade did was to employ him as her publicist.
