Jaguar Girths

I'm particularly looking at the dressage girths, are they any good/worth the money etc?

wintec elastic dressage girths are great, imo jaguar are very expensive and you can get others that do a much better job!

I know someone that uses exclussively Jaguar saddles and girths and are very happy with them.

I'm after somehting leather though, if it's synthetic I'm a hell of alot less enclined to clean it after each use

Not used a jaguar girth but I do recommend Albions. I have one and really like it. Easy to clean too

the wintecx are mega easy to clean and my saddle has not once slipped with them. With my old leather dressage girth my sadde used to slip and it always looked dirty!!

I have a Wintec one for at home, that never gets cleaned, and an Albion Legend for comp.

Ahhh, I quite like the look of the Ultima dressage girth. grr, I hate buying new stuff!

I nearly bought one when I bought my saddle but am glad I didnt. My friend has had one for years on a big moving warmblood and its fine but his action must have 'pushed' the leather back arround the elbow area and its not as smooth as it was. I borrowed it a couiple of times and it rubbed my boy where the leather has sort of twisted in the elbow area. My friend hasnt had any problems though.
I think you get what you pay for and she loves it but I had to buy one more cut back at the elbow, a bit like the Amerigo one. Its a Jeremy Rudge?? and I got it off Ebay and love it. For everyday I use a Thorowgood synthetic one so I can stick it under the tap.

You can pick a leather Prestige one up on Ebay for £20, they are really nice and soft.

I was looking at the Prestige ones yesterday, they do look very nice, and cheaper than Jaguar... Although I'd love a Harry Dabbs but they don't come in 32"!

The dressage girth I'm looking at is really shaped s It's just trying to get the really cut back bits to sit in the right place

For dressage girths, nothing better than the ALbios IMO. Frank Baines do gorgeous girths too.....

I know you want leather but my Keiffer dressage girth is the dogs hairy's!

i have got a jaguar girth, havent hardly used it yet but so far so good, i really like it!
