There were all easy to ride, good paces (especially good canter), calm horses, very reliable and absolutely not cheeky. They jump with scope and power, sometimes they lack some technique, but they really CAN jump!
They were rather big (over 16.3h). They all have well set-on necks and good shoulders.
He needs bloody mares, quick in their jumping technique. But they need to have good solid legs (not too weak). Some Jaguars I rode, were framed horses, but they had 'thoroughbredy' legs (not really in proportion). I cannot help you with photographs, but maybe you should have a look at this website: www.find-your-horse.com
You can easily find some Jaguars in the 'horses for sale' section, as he is very popular in France!
I have a filly foal out of a arab mare by Jaguar Mail she is quite small with a nice enough temperament, I dont think he has added anything to her step
Have a look at www.blanchardshillfarm.co.uk under High Velocity Vega the a picture of him at about 1-2 weeks old.
The picture does not do him justice as he has really straightened out ( he was rather gangley when he was born) and now has a fantastic topline and a very powerful behind.
He also has a lovely uphil movement.
Personality wise he is a complete dream, he is so friendly and trusting, he never holds a grudge. He was always easy to do, picking feet up, head collar on and off etc.
He is quite a big lad, with quite a bit of bone, but with a elegance that probably comes from the TB.
I'm really pleased with him.
The mare an older mare also took first time with frozen semen, so I can vouch that the semen is good, although my fantastic vet also helped!
