Slough Count Court today in the small claims Court, case brought by Wendy Palmer who loaned a horse to Janet Rogers in November of 2005 (yes these thing take an age to get to court). The horse was said, by Rogers, to have died of natural causes within a month of arriving at her yard, this was contested by Palmer who believes that the horse was sold, probably for meat.
The judge found in favour of Palmer and awarded compensation and costs against Janet Rogers who is based in the Maidenhead area.
