I qualified at Solihull for the BE Novice and BE100, and Ive entered the final tomorrow, however I just want to clarify the format of tomorrows final. Is it just the same as the qualifying competition?

Thanks!!! xx

yep, same format except the sj and xc are in different arenas.

once you sj you go through a little walkway and straight into the xc arena.

I'm going to be there tomorrow, and I guess it had never crossed my mind that it might run differently! Very helpful to see millitiger's answer!

I'll be against you in the BE100!

Will be there too tomorrow in the BE100 and the Novice.

so do you keep moving from SJ to the XC in a canter or stop and like canter around the XC ring before you start etc is there a bell for both?

Will get there early anyway to watch.

See you tomorrow Loppie

They used to have it in two arenas, now they just have it in the big main indoor, it is exactly the same as for the qualifiers, but the xc section has a few more interesting fences in it.
I think you can circle before you start the xc but only one bell at the beginning.
I am there for BE100 and Novice.

Thats a video from the final last year and was pretty similar the year before.

Last year it was just in one arena, exactly the same as the quals. Take note of the glass end by the cafe, there is usually a jump towards it, into a corner that always causes problems.

The warmup can get very busy, we used the outdoor warmups to do all the flat work in first.
