For all interested there is a reply on the BE forum following the query made - not particularly impressed with it personally - is Holly Farr a staff member I thought it always mentioned it if they were.
The reply did confuse me but think I understand now!!!
However surely someone that is competent enough to have a horse entered and start an advance course but not to be able to complete still has much much more knowledge and experience than "everyday" intro riders (I'm not trying to be nasty to anyone here but can't think how to word it better but can definetly word it more offensively

Reply did confuse me some what too!
I agree with you I am an intro rider and can sure see a difference between her and me!
Looking back at her record again she has got completed international tracks - been eventing for a while and is clearly a professional rider with several horses at most events.
Well I think the two year rule is stupid. I thought Jas was supposed to encourage up and coming riders , not ones that have been there , done it and got the T shirt!
I had hoped I had answered everyones queries yesterday but I notice some are still questioning the results.
JAS is a training series - therefore is open to all. The main objective is for people to get out on their horses to practise before the season starts. We offer a safe environment for this to happen and with a BE accrediated trainer marking. JAS is all about experience - so any rider can compete and some more experienced riders like to bring their young horses. Winning or being placed is supposed to be a bonus - not the main objective - but I can understand the draw when we offer good prizes!
I did mention yesterday that the few rules we do put in place are to help not to hinder riders.
Also I am not a staff member of BE - I am an independent organiser who runs other events as well as the JAS series on behalf of BE!
Hope this helps!

Sorry about the staff member bit but could you consider asking to have added under your username in brackets JAS organiser or something along those lines as otherwise it just appears to us that you are a member of BE.
