well a bit of a mixed report really, Frankie had one session of jumping on a surface in Jan this was the first time he had jumped since The start of september when he did charlton Park.
So we did the PN at Hartpury (he only has 2 points) and he had three down! the planks the style and the first XC fence. so a bit disappointed but pleased he jumped round ok ofter such a long break.
Then on friday we did the PN and Novice at West wilts, he warmed up really nicely for the PN and jumped a lovely clear inside the time. we came third out of aout 60 with a mark of 13, the winner had 10.
Then for the novice, it was full up 1.10m so just wanted to get round, we did get round but had 5 down! style mark of 17, pleased he went round but a bit annoyed that he had 5 down, he jumped all the XC fences but was a little lazy over the SJ's esp as he knew they were plastic. Not going to the finals as i have dressage that day, we went last year and although it was a good day you need to be a "name" to have a chance of winning!
