JAS rule question!

i have just entered my 1st one at hoplands (yay!) but can someone tell me wether the rule is as per xc that you have to where a body protector or as per sj and a bp is optional?

I think a body protector is compulsory as you wear xc dress. Haven't checked the rules but all the competitors I have seen doing JAS have worn body protectors.

You do both rounds in one go you havent time to change any clothing. you have to wear XC colours but body protectors are optional. (but recommended) good luck, ive just entered the one at Hartpury

I didnt wear one, though prob should have! They are optional.
