What is it? I've been wondering for ages so I thought I'd ask

jumping and style. i know thats what it stands for

JAS stands for "Jumping and Style" and is run by BE. It is a competition comprised of showjumping and xc style knock down fences (indoors). There is a panel of judges who mark your round - ie. the speed of it/your style etc. and then your mark(lowest is best) is added to your jumping penalties from the sjing and xc section plus any time faults you incur and the lowest overall score wins

The top 10 go through to the final at Addington

and they run an intro, pre novice, novice and open class

ooh that sounds interesting, do you or the horse have to be BE reg'd to compete? What height is each class?

you can do each one on a day ticket so you send of for day tickets and then you can enter and compete

Open - 1.15m

I believe one day ticket allows you to compete in as many JAS as you like, and one BE ODE. Not a bad deal I reckon.

I'll have my own transport for the firs time in my lifeand I'm just dying to get out and do as much as possible!

Is there anywhre in the midlands that does it? (around the warwickshire area?)
