Hi there,

If there are any breeeding wizzes who reckon you could suggest a good stallion, for a jazz mare, would love to hear from you?

My mare is solid, 17h, lovely temperment, can be a little spooky. Good quality paces.

Thanks

As above, what’re you aiming to breed?

Additionally, photos of the mare would be useful. It’s important to not only choose a stallion for temperament, but also a stallion whose conformation will complement your mare.

I have recently been narrowing down my own search for a stallion to use in 2024, so may have some suggestions (dressage stallions).

Your options would be limited if you want to use a stallion standing in the UK. However, if your mare is of substance and you’d like to use something standing in the UK, who will add quality and an easy temperament, please consider Kaiserdom TSF. He stands in West Sussex and is a proven GP horse - the best bit is that he’s still available for fresh collections. Please don’t be put off by the fact he’s a Trakehner; he is also licenced with most of the German main stud books.

A good friend has used him time and time again and the foals are superb with the most wonderful, balanced temperaments.
