Jealousy... anyone else?

You either need to turn it around or..... move yards to somewhere where no one rides.

I believe that my horses are the nicest on the yard and the best trained.
I work full time and shifts which means I often have to rush around whilst other people at the yard get to stay and play ponies.

They arent happier than me, they just do things differently

I put the time and effort into my horses to make them what they are. That's what imo makes you better than them.
I would love to have loads of money and not have to work but I'm living in the real world and the majority of people do have to go to work to earn money for the luxuries such as horses.

Chin up and be proud of you and your horse.

I had a friend at college that sounds like your fellow livery, she got brought a mini when passed her driving test and even her own flat. She doesnt work, just rides while daddy pays for all.

Did you go to Warwickshire College by any chance? Friend I was on the course with there had EXACTLY this

I'm in a club with a real mixed bag of people and a few of them are funded by parents and have got nice cars and are quite spoilt (3 of these are sisters and are friends but one is horribly stuck up) and I'm jeaous because they've got to go to uni and get fully funded by mummy and daddy and have everything handed to them but then I pity them at the same time. I've got 3 jobs (4 if you count coaching the pony club) to run a car, flash truck, rent, livery, my keep and bills and 4 pretty awesome polocrosse ponies but the sense of achievement and 'wow, I've done all this and worked for it' is huge and makes me feel so proud of myself

I think jealousy and envy is a natural human emotion but it's negative and can be consumming it's not healthy.
I think that everyone feels jealous at some point, even someone wildly beautiful, talented, rich, loved like film stars can be jealous maybe they are jealous of other peoples close real friends of anonymity?
No-one ever knows what peoples lives are like behind closed doors or what goes on in their heads so the rich/lucky people you feel jealous of may feel jealous of you for different reasons.
I think it's a feeling to be accepted and move on. If I feel jealous of someone I try to think of all the things I'm happy for as it's my life that matters to me. Its much nicer to be free of such a horrid emotion and be happy for other people and ourselves .
