Dressage Jean Bemelmans teaching Carl Hester video

Yeah, it's Uthopia. He always came across as a willing, cheerful horse. I bet his babies are lovely.
the ones I've heard about IRL seem to be nice and trainable characters. the stud is local to me but I heard something about only to approved mares and I don't reckon mine would qualify

Approved by who? One of the warmblood studbooks? Their owners? The stallion's owners?

He's probably popular, so I guess they can afford to be picky. Does he have a lesser-known brother or son at stud?

He has a son called Lollipop who is very nice. I believe the mares have to be stud book graded and then approved by them too (good competition record or producer of top youngstock etc).

There is also U-genius.

Although I know someone who put their native x novice horse to Utopia so I can’t imagine they are that selective!

Nearly every half decent stallion at stud states only to approved mares, yet everyone I have ever enquired to have never asked a single question. (i never enquired about Uthopia to be fair mainly due to his size).
Love the video btw, could watch him ride all day and not get bored, its beautiful to watch x
