JEEP TOWING WEIGHTS?!

Hi all, looking for the towing weights of the jeep Cheroke's but everywhere i look it doesnt have them listed.
Anyone know?

Specifically the 2.4L Petrol, the 3.7L petrol and the 2.5 Diesel?

Select Jeep and then scroll towards bottom of the page for the table of info. A very quick looks to me as if the Cherokee isn't great but the grand cherokee has decent towing capacity.

Tried that one but it doesnt give the towing info its just blank.

I have jeep cherokee 2.5 diesel and the towing weight is 3.5 ton, BUT it depends on the towbar that you have fitted which could be why they are not always listed. It would seem that they have 2 types of towbar and one is only about 2.5 tons

Just asked my brother and they are normally rated at 2500 to 2800 but for the older Jeeps there are 2 or 3 types of towhook depending on the year of the vehicle, if you use the highest rated towbar then it will be up to 3500 otherwise its lower and they quote the lower weight for safety as a lot of people don't use the better towbars. Makes life interesting!
