I'm interested in buying a new 5-Point Breastplate for my TB 16.1 mare (As she's very high withered her saddle slips back a considerable amount even though it's fitted correctly) but I'm having some confusion with the sizing as she has a very narrow shoulder and front.
Her old Breastplate was Full Size and we had to hole punch it but even then it was too big!
I've heard the Jeffries sizes are small also?

Thanks for looking.

I dont know what make mine is, it was half price in a closing down sale and I snapped it up but it is cob size. My horse is 16 2. Just a suggestion, would you try cob size on yours rather than a full size and punching holes....?

Ah sorry I forgot to mention in the post that the sizing is Cob/Full (Medium) but I was wondering if it would be adjustable enough?
We bought the Full Size Breastplate when we first bought her because we had no idea what size she would be but it just turned out to be too big and I've finally scared up enough money to buy her a new one. :)

I have a full size Jeffries hunter breastplate, which I had to punch about 3 holes in for my 15hh cob x wb mare. My Jeffries C/F 5 point fits brilliantly with plenty of room for adjustment both ways :)

I've got full size on my 15.3 ISH and it is on the border of being too big. Cob would have been fine for him, he's middle weight.
