My lad has sensitive ears so has a very padded comfort headpiece. But this still rubs the backs of his ears. I've seen the jeffries IR and like it, but I use a drop noseband and know the IR has different attachments for the noseband. Anyone know if I can get a drop anywhere with buckles either side to attch like this?

i had a similar problem - tried a padded headpeice but mare threw herself on floor out of protest to it (yes - she's opinionated and a bit of a diva!)
spoke to jeffries as i wanted one without a flash - but they couldn't help - so i had a local saddler make me something v similar for half the cost

good idea, hadn't thought of that. It's only really the headpiece I need, not the whole bridle.

Does anyone know any other bridle with curved headpieces?

Or any good saddlers in Kent that could make me one?

i looked long and hard into similar bridles and to be honest they are mostly a rip off for what they are/the work involved! and i'm a leather snob so wont buy cheap/nasty!
afraid i don't know of any saddlers down there (i'm in scotland) but i do know of a good/trusted saddler who would make you one - pm me if you want more info

I think the new Albion bridles are shaped slightly round the ears. The old versions are cut normally, but in the pics of the new ones it LOOKS like there are notches cut out for ears!

I have the IR bridle and it is lovely. Mine is from Stroud Saddlery but it's the same bridle. I needed a kineton for it so had them make one up for me. (it was £40 for the noseband - but I'm sure my normal saddler would make one cheaper
