Well I have got two Jeffries Elite bridles that came with rubber reins. Both the pairs now have the rubber coming off them. I only use the bridles for best so they havent been over-used either. I have had some Sabre and Stubben reins for years and they are still as good as new.
If you want some lovely soft ones try the T de T grip ones they are really soft from day one and mine have lasted for over 5 years
Used to love Jeffries stuff but a premier bridle I bought only a year ago stretched so much I had to have it altered and the reins are nearly finished already. They have got very thin where they attach to the bit and all the rubber is split.
My wife's Sabre stuff is ancient and still going strong.
I have the Jeffries half rubber reins, they are years old and still going strong. Have just bought some of the Jeffries bio grip reins for jumping and faster work and love them
