jeffries Rope Cheek Pieces for Cheltenham Gag

I have been looking at these online and see they do a version that you sew in & a version called ' loop end '.

The loop end ones have stitched leather at either end & I can't for the life of me see how you would be able to attach your bit to these.

Are there any brain boxes out there who can enlighten me please?

Loop them through themselves - the ring comes off that way.

Thanks miss_c but I'm still confused - it doesn't take much!

I know that with the loop ends you can detach the loop by looping through like you said, but the Jeffries ones have stitched leather at either end so I can't see how you can get the loop off.

Maybe the image isn't clear on the net or maybe I'm missing something very simple! How would the loop come off if it has stitched leather at the loop end?
