I have the hawk event, which mine has had for the past 6 years. It is very comfy, it is a nice all round saddle but I prefer separate jumping and dressage saddles.
Hiya, I have two hawk events, one for each of my ID's. They are fabulous, I would never want to ride in any other! All I do is hacking, a tiny bit of jumping and the odd pleasure ride but I cant recommend them highly enough. I got my first one about 12 years ago and then when I bought my ID mare about three years ago, I ended up changing hers to a Hawk Event too! Hope that helps xx
I love my old Hawk, can't see me changing to another type and I know a lot that hunt all day in theirs but don't forget I now class myself as a happy hacker! If you are wanting to compete, you might do better with a specialised saddle for that discipline but I won't hear a thing against mine!.
Was only looking at it as a GP saddle, something I can do schooling, hacking and eventually introduce jumping in. We are a very long way off eventing and it seemed to be the main GP saddle jeffries do ...??
i agree also with tia...fine for that...i had to sell mine as it wasnt great for eventing...in my honest opinion and othe peoples as well...i was advised to change saddles! but really comfy.
