Any opinions on this saddle, I have the chance of a second hand one and am going to try it at the weekend.

Would it be suitable to use as an all-round saddle? I currently have a saddle company cob on my Welsh Section D - flat backed and large shoulders (horse not me)

Thanks

I had this saddle for my young horse (dark one in sig) Loved it! Had a dressage saddle but things got hairy hacking plus I wanted to a bit of hunting and jumping with him too. Found I could ride short even did XC in it and long for dressage and showing. It was really comfy and not restrictive at all. Ryu was a bit of a barrel and it fitted him very well was gutted when I sold it but it was too wide for Leonard plus we only do dressage. Hope its the havana one you're trying the colour is lovely I am very jealous.

Thanks for your reply Baileysno1

Yes it is havana - I have a chestnut beastie. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will fit both of us - it is the extra wide!

I bought one on via the internet last week for my boy. It doesn't fit so its going back and I have a Farrington VSD instead. I didn't find it very comfortable but I think that was because it was tipping backwards. I had heard great things about it before I bought it though.
