Jeffries Stamford Working Hunter Saddle

Any opinions on this saddle, I have got the chance of a second hand one, going to try it at the weekend.

Would it be suitable to use as an all-round saddle? I currently have a saddle company cob on my Welsh Section D.

This was my dream saddle, I love it! My friend has one and it is gorgeous I have only had a little play on her horse but liked what I tried, I know she loves it to!

I used to have one and used it like you would a GP i.e for hacking, showing, hunting and jumping small jumps.

They are lovely comfortable saddles but when I came to change it (didn't fit pony anymore) I went for a VSD as it gave me more support but I am a novice rider.

DBBX thanks, I am really hoping it fits, it has been converted to flair so will wait and see.

chumsmum, that's good to know I would be using it as a GP for a little bit of everything - although I haven't hunted for years and would like to get back into it, just not sure if I am brave enough anymore and I no longer bounce!!
