hats off to him!! BIG pat on the back and well done!!
We were at Xscape ealier in the year and there were lots of unsavoury types hanging about inside. We had taken the children, and went to Maccy D's as a treat but had to leave halfway through because some teenage giels (can't have been older than 12) kept bellowing abusive language at some lads. I was with my father and my two young children and we were so disgusted we left our food and went home.
Big pat on the back!!! This is sometimes the only treatment kids like these respect! Any chance he could visit our town, he'd be run off his feet all day here!

I was considering going to the new shopping centre, till someone told me I'd have seen all the shops within 2 minutes.
Must admit though, when i drove past the place looks alot better... how long before it;s graffitied to within an inch of it's life?
I really cannot understand why they are wasting all that money building a new fancy complex, when the rest of the town is run down and looks like some throw back from a 1950's town centre.... You can build all you like, to make things look different, but the people remain the same and whilst thats happening, there is NO HOPE round here!
Sorry drifting off topic here
remember reading about trinny and susannah were offering one lucky family from this town a complete makeoever...... What??? tear them out of the national dress of tracksuit bottoms and baseball caps??? Totally unheard of....
yet you can drive 8 miles down the road and the national dress standard is much better, not a tracksuit in sight!
8 miles in which direction? MH is going the same way.... they just hide it behind posh buildings.
I heard Trinny and Susannah did an inteview in "rowell" and got ladies to show their boobs. My friend (from that town) said she'll never feel ashamed of hers again, as none of the ladies in the interview wore a bra...
I do agree alot of money has been wasted on that centre. It'll still end up dirty and smelly, and the people won't change. There's naff all employment, and naff all hope.
Now if you go between there and MH the class is sooo much better
They wont be asking anyone if they've got security again

lol!
Trouble is, the excape and theatre district are just full of idiots, usually from the dog-end parts of MK.
Weekly is a club thing (used to be discos in my day) that young people go to (young as in 13-15 year olds) which my daughter really wants to go to with her friends who are allowed to. Having seen it at closing, I wouldn't let my dog go there...It is a battle every week saying no, I don't want you going to this godawful place with the local rabble. (that sounds snobbish but I aint!)
The worst part of MK is... MK...
Kudos to JC for elevating the toads (I wish I had his height!)
Good for him. I love the quote "I lifted him off the ground and explained firmly", LOL. Totally agree with what he did, glad the police aren't taking action against him.
I love this: "I therefore put him down, and in a flurry of swearing and hand gestures involving various fingers he was gone."
and this: "Think about it. Every time one of these children is found stabbed or shot, his mum and stepdad always tell the papers he was "a good lad", and he "didn't deserve to die".
"Nobody ever says: "Well, if he was such a frigging angel, what was he doing on a derelict building site at four in the morning, you halfwits?"
I also think he was correct in the manner in which he acted. I fully support his actions. More needs to be done to tackle the foul mouthed youths of today who show a total lack of respect and are downright obnoxious in many cases.
Bring back the birch at school is what I say.
The very second in which teachers and schools lost their powers of punishing disruptive individuals -once inside the school gates - was the time when pc had reached an all time low.
We live in a nanny state that is so very true.
Hooligans and little brats ( could say worse) know just that.
Why do you reckon they decided to film Mr Clarkson with a phone? I am sure their intentions were to enrage him into doing something which could be filmed and used against him?
It just beggars belief in my honest opinion.
As for Milton Keynes ( apologies to anyone who lives there by what I am about to say), my impressions of the place were not very good after visiting a small part of the town last month.
My partner was playing a football match in conjunction with work. When we reached the venue it looked ok from the road in which we approached but I soon learned how rough the place was.
Whilst another team was playing and we were waiting for our men to go on the pitch there was a rumour around that the small crowd was expecting trouble.
A small gang had approached the field and it was later said by a few people who were there that one of the men had an axe to grind with an individual who was there.
When I say axe to grind that was literally.
The man turned up wielding an axe. I did not see him but others including members of our football team did. He had scarpered before the police arrive which I did see ( some of which were mounted on horseback).
I also found out after talking to another person that a relative was in prison doing time.
I am not one to gossip, or tell lies and the above is stated as I saw and heard it. Needless to say whilst I cannot comment on MK as a whole I won't be in any rush to go back there and neither do I want my partner playing football at that venue again.
Caz
I think those young lads & lasses have learned a valuable lesson from this: in future, always pick on a weak victim, not someone in the public eye, who might be the favourite TV viewing of the arresting officer.
If you or I had acted like Mr Clarkson we'd have been cautioned.

I think his first act when in power would be to ban horse riders (cyclists, pedestrians) from the road as an inconvenience to motorists.

I think you'd be surprised his wife and children have horses and regularly ride on the road. He would definately help with getting better off road access though so there is less need for riders to be on the road.
