He performed surgery on one of my horses last year; I understand that he spends about 6 months of his time in South Africa (I had to wait 6 weeks for him to be able to operate on my boy) so might take a bit of time for him to get back to you.

Thanks CBanglo. Yes I heard that too. I did contact him earlier in the year to say I was looking at November and he said he would need 1 months notice. He didn't mention being out of the country at that time though. I have also tried his mobile which did ring with the normal uk tone so not sure what's happening really.

Hopefully he will get in touch soon as I'm anxious to get things in place now.

That's very strange as I used that email address last week and it didn't come back.

I have spoken to him this morning. He has been in Africa for two weeks. I'm breathing a sigh of relief now. So good to know things are moving now
