Jezzy had a fit :(

Poor Jezzy had a fit last night and another this morning she perked up quite quickly after both but were off to the vet later.

Does anyone know if staffs are more prone to anything like epilepsy? Kicking myself majorly because I didn't renew her insurance in june because I knew I was starting work a big insurance company and get a discount but hadn't started the new policy yet

Many reasons a dog of any breed might fit, vets is the best thing as your doing.

Could be hereditary or the result of some sort of injury or trauma, your vet is best person to ask.

Some staffs are prone to epilepsy. I've had quite a few here on meds.

vet confirmed more likely epilepsy since she had "proper" seizures so weve got some meds for her and going back in a month for a review and blood tests.

poor little things really unsettled, shes usually so steadfast and stoic is awfull seeing her poorly

So sorry you've had your fears confirmed, but I'm sure she'll soon stabilize and settle with the medication. Give her extra cuddles tonight please.
