or because someone has told him about our particular concern for the blind pony and he thinks that if he gets that excluded from those intended for auction then it gives him a better chance of getting his own way and stopping the animals staying with the charities

Your answer speaks volumes.
I understand you and others have put a lot of hard work into this case but the case isn't about the people, it's about the animals. So when someone comes and questions what has been reported - you as a horse lover should be praying that this person is right instead of trying to shut them up.
