Argh why cant I get a pair of good fitting jhods!
I have no clue what size I should even be looking for.
I have tried 28' which are massive.
I also hate the fact that most jhods go up to my bellybutton, I want them on my hips!

I was thinking of getting some cheap pull on ones that I can fold over that wont rub on my bellybutton and may well fit but what size do I go for?
At the moment I am wearing 28' childs and they fit okay but when I buy a 28' adult they are huge, why are the waist different?!

I am a clothes size 6-8 and about 5'1 tall.
I just want nice comfy jhods that wont come right up to me bellybutton, preferably pull ons that are good quality. Any recomendations?!
 
i'm also a 6-8 but taller so find that most 24" fit me, some 26". Maybe worth trying 24" also how about wearing breeches as jodhpurs as you are only 5'1 (don't mean to sound rude

Does anyone know what the inches sizes are in normal clothes sizes, for example XX' is a size 6?

I will have a look at breeches thanks.
 
Greywelshie, my 10 year old daughter (who also rides little grey welshies) is 5ft 1 and approx size 6-8 adult or age 13 clothes if school uniform, she wears childrens 26 (bit small and def getting too short) and 28 (bit big round the waist but length fine) jodhs.
I'm a 14-16 and size 30 adult seem to fit me (but only have 1 pair so could be just that brand) so I'd think a 28 adult would be a 14 hence too big for you
