I really really want a pair of Jins, in rose gold. But I cannot afford the price.

So my lovely people of HHO, can you recommend another make?

Doesn't have to be the rose gold, basic colours are OK.

Need new stirrups for the dressage saddle now we have the jump.

HKM make some cheaper versions, just search for aluminium stirrups. I had some for a while, they aren't as nice as Jins but they are similar.

I bought some 'Amidale' silver copies off eBay 6 months ago for £20, touch wood they are good so far. They are a complete mold of Aluminium so hope they'll last a while. A friend has genuine Jin's and when we ride together you can barely tell the difference.. only if you look closely.

I've got the HKM ones, and they are for sale but have some marks. anyway, they are ok, bit heavier than Jins but you wont notice when riding. I also have the old style Jins and love them (before they were sooooo expensive!)

Mine are from Harry's Horse!
Apologies for giant pic. Rose gold in the Jinn style :)

Edited to add: My matching spurs are from Eclat Equestrian, in case you were wanting some of those too. :)

Worth keeping an eye out for second hand ones. There really is nothing quite like jins and the copies are known for breaking.

Thank you. I've seen that Kramer do these type stirrups and on the BD page it has a few good reviews. I've had a few things off them before and been good quality.

I wouldnt feel right having a cheap ebay one as wouldn't trust it.

I had a pair of Amidale copies before splashing out on the real things, they were fine other than the paint chipping but I had black ones so very noticable. Also heavier and less grippy than the real things.
