I've just read the post above this about JM being banned - completely mad, what about the people who were sending the PM's to her I wonder?!?!?
Well, pretty soon all the helpful posters will be gone, 1st Lucretia & now JM07...

I've had a telling off by admin also.
Swearing is not allowed on the forum.
Action will be taken bla bla blady bla.
Given the amount of vile and downright spitefulness and heavy handedness on here of late (oh and I include you in that admin.....Lucretia did NOT warrent a ban) HHO is fast turning into a dictorship state!

Why has LM07 been banned? I don't get it at all!

Fair enough if admin has a problem with swear words, I don't mind them myself, although some people get upset, but what about all the totally unacceptable allegations all over the forum recently? Surely a much more important issue than a couple of swear words.
 
I've just had my first ever telling off from Admin too. Apparently it's not acceptable to put a * in the middle of a swear word so that you don't write the entire swear word!!!!

lexiehb the WHY post was basically JM07 asking whiy people had felt it necessary to send her nasty PMs, emails, messages on horsemart etc about her terrible situation having to have those ponies PTS. Basically implying that she was wrong and coould have done more etc - real bunny hugger types!
 
See my Admin...please clarify post! I've used a '*' in lieu of letters!
I'm outta here for now, this place is getting ridiculous...
 
The trouble with going onto other forums is it inevitably spills back onto here in a big ball of flaming fury.

Think I might want to take a break from HHO. I didn't know Lucerita that well but having seen the posts can't understand why she was banned, and if JM is having an enforced break for this... well, the reason why I use HHO and not other forums has now gone.

ah I did see that thread got pulled pretty early this morning tankey and wondered what had been in it, i thought it was more what was being said the other way about hhoers having no life and requiring psychiatric help.
 
I don't use other forums & don't know JM or Lucretia outside us commenting on the same posts occasionally but I've noticed that in general they both were usually very helpful and gave the benefit of their experience to people who perhaps know less...I thought that could only be a good thing but obv not...like you say perhaps a break from HHO is needed...the censorship has gone mad.

Why has JM07 been banned when on the hunting thread we constantly are bombarded by some thoroughly unpleasant posters one of which said someone 'deserved all he got' (a pro hunter killed by a gyrocopter) when this was reported the post and mine stating he was out of order were both pulled! He has not been banned.
JM has done nothing wrong, we are all adults and a few well place *'s should not be enough for this over zealous banning.
 
Agree with everyone else, we seem to be losing the most respected people when they don't appear to have done anything wrong but others get away with murder. I trust Admin that ucmeicu will be permanently banned for her downright nasty post on the Why thread.
