job with horses...help

I'm just wondering what you lot thought about my chances of getting a job with horses....

I've just finished uni studying photography...I have ridden since I was about 11, but most places I've looked at for jobs are at race yards, where they want people to have to had experience with race horses, which is what I don't have.

I have done all the mucking out, grooming and tacking up of horses but I have not done this in a while and so would need a refresher on what I would need to do.

Is this the kind of experience a yard would take on? Are there any other jobs you could think of that I could do?

have u tried expanding your photgraphy to equine and seeing if there are any business taking on photgraphers for events. start small and gett bigger. be an advantage that you have ridden as youl know when to get them at there best. or starting your own photraphy business, long shot but you never know. venues are always welcoming photgraphers to there events

Do what i did , get the yellow pages out , find all the riding schools in your area and write to them ,dont call write , I got three answers and worked at two of them , and had such a fantastic time , money not so great but hey what a load of fun i had and you can move up the ranks to teacher or something if thats what you want goooooood llllluccckk

That sounds like a good idea..I'm pretty much after any work I can get lol
