i almost have a degree in criminology but i really have found recently any thought of not working with horses makes me wanna cry.

i have 4 a levels. almost a degree in criminology
c test in pony club and Nqv level 2 in horse care

any idea on any jobs the can combine the two

i was thinking about the rspca or ilph horse inspector jobs but they seem really hard to get into.

i dont want to go into the police or the army tho

How about doing a post graduate degree in a horsey subject? It would only take one extra year and would give you the career change you want.

I looked into having a career change and becoming an RSPCA inspector a few years ago, from what I can remember they place a lot of emphasis on you being able to deal with difficult people rather than animals as I guess you get trained in the animal side. It could be worth a go as especially with your criminology qualification you would have an advantage on the legal side with prosecutions etc, it is quite competive and I don't think the salary is great which is why I didn't go ahead with the application in the end.
