have the weights been moved up to just over 8st min for the flat and start at 9st for NH or was i told wrong?

not sure of the exact weights, but yes, i 'think' they have been moved up.

Not sure what the crack is on the flat. On the AW at the mo they have almost entirely compressed handicaps, with maybe only 10ib between the runners. Bottom weight is generally 8st2/8st4 - for the 7ib claimers that is 7st9/7st10. I know Ireland have upped the minimum weight, will probs follow over here.
Jump racing is still 10st minimum weight, so thats 9st4 for 10ib claimers and 9st7 for 7ib claimers.
