I'm looking for the ariat type zip up ones, but maybe not as expensive! Are the tredstep ones any good? And are these types of boots any good at keeping toes warm for cold winter riding...

Thanks

Sorry, am on a bit of a post role today!

I've just recently bought some Arait zip up ones but not to sure which sort they are LOL, but they were cheaper then the other ones in the shop so they were the older sort I think. They are really comfy and I really like them! Havn't had a winter with them yet though.

I have Dublin ones and love them!!

Click here and scroll to "Dublin Excel Jod Boot"

ETA- Had them two winters and with a thick pair of socks I find them really toasty

they look lovely but I think they might be a bit chunky for my ariat chaps, as I'm keeping the chaps! Thanks tho!

BTB I'm looking for the cheapest Ariat boot but they are sooo pricey...

Yes I know thats the only problem! But I went half and half with my mum which worked out quite well. I think my ones were £74.99 insead of £79.99 or something.

If you want to go VERY cheap, I had these: http://www.equestrianclearance.com/produ...dies/index.html and they lasted 8 months at Stag Lodge (you know how Stag Lodge boots get abused - my Mountain Horse ones that were about £75 only lasted about 6 months). When they did go, it was the stitching, not the leather cracking - I suppose it rotted so you might not want to do too much mucking out in them - although Chloe's bed is probably a lot less rot-inducing than those at Stag.

I tried on Tredsteps and didn't like them at all. Made my feet look HUGE! I have now got Ariat Heritage zip boots. very comfy boots and I also went a size smaller than normal. I don't zip mine up fully as I can't drive in them then!

I wear mine with my Ariat chaps and they looks v.smart.
