Ariat Cobalts all the way - I am an 8 in every other shoe boot i have ever owned but always go down 1/2 a size to a 7.5 in all Ariat boots (I have 4 pairs)!!!
Ariat Cobalts - absolutely fantastic - they converted me from being a strictly long boot person!! They have a very good sole, stiff and grippy, which gives you very good stability on the stirrup. They also have very good ankle support. I feel very stable in these boots, and would buy the same ones again.
I bought a pair of TredStep jod boots previously, and I was so unstable in them that I thought I would wobble right off the horse!
Definitely the Cobalts. They are expensive (£188), but are worth it for the quality.
Another vote for Ariats. Nearly broke my heart to pay the money for them at the time but I have never once regretted it. Feet feel so supported in and out of the saddle
I suppose Ebay is always a good place for cheaper versions of Ariats? I'd like a pair but I've just had to pay for a car so having to watch the pennies.
