Jodhpur size 8 in waist measurements?

I think its a 24" is a size ten.

hi i'm a size 8 to 10 and normally an 8 is a 24" and 10 is 26" waist. hope that helps

Thank you both Just had out the measuring tape and came up with the same but wanted to be sure, I do with they'd just use dress sizes though it would save a lot of hassle ha ha!

Are you sure your buying ladies and not maids? I am a size 10 dress although I can fit in size 8 trousers sometimes,and can wear maids 28 jods but ladies its a 24 or 26.

Yup I buy maids 30 or ladies 26 or 28. But all of my jeans are a size 8 aha.

Next or monsoon or asda jeans size 8 that is. M&S size 8 too big.
If that's any help. No way could I get into 24" and I do have some size 6 trousers too.
It is weird.

I am a size 6-8 normally but have to have size 26" jods even though in theory I should need 24" (cos ...erm ...I measure 24"). I think it depends on body shap a bit too - I mean, I dont think my calves or thighs would fit into 24" joddies with bending room! in fact - i know they dont

Very much depends on brand - I'm a size 8-10 and wear 26" Horseware jods, 24" Ariat and 22" Pikeur! I have some 26" Pesoa ones that are tighter than the 22" Pikeur.

totally agree with this! each brand is completely different for me! but me a size 8-10 have found size 28" jods to be more comfortable! it's a case of trying on i think
