Looking for some advice from anyone that has boys that ride!
My 13 year old hasn't ridden regularly for about 4 years, however he's suddenly become keen again and stolen one of his sister's ponies. He's been riding in tracksuit bottoms (his preferred leg wear for all occasions when he can get away with it) but now he wants to go show-jumping so I'm going to have to get him some proper attire. When he was small he just had standard kids' jodhpurs but now he's a bit older I don't know what to buy him. Myself and my daughter prefer the riding tights/leggings style, but I can't imagine that would cut it with a boy 🤣
So my question is, what breeches/jodhpurs do teenage boys wear? Preferably nothing overly pricey as there's every possibility he'll pack it all in again in another few months!

Mine is in the smallest size mens le mieux ones. Once he graduated from the boys sizes we went to a local tack shop and tried loads of different brands on. We found the le mieux not super long in the leg or baggy on the waist - like some of the others. No doubt as he gets taller and fills out, we'll end up with something else! I was nervously anticipating vast expense but although they weren't the cheapest, they were at least in the sale! I think they are the lugano ones if that helps!

My 12 yo (very leggy!) son loves the boys cut “joggings” and “breggings” from Pony Passion - can’t quite get him into men’s sizes yet as they’re still a bit big, but these are the perfect solution for him for now. I think his competition breeches are plus he’s got a casual black pair by them as well, but he’s not keen on the Velcro ankles. He’s also got some Aubrion Walton breeches that he’s just growing out of now - but he says the Pony Passion ones are his favourites.
