Well am in need of a new pair for competing in and was just wondering what you lot have, currently have a really nice, comfy pair of Elite boots that cost around £65 about 1yr1/2 ago, lasted so well so any that you know will hopefully last as long.

I just bought some new Toggi Ottowa Jodhpur boots yesterday (lost my others, god knows where!) and they're really comfortable, smart and were only £25!! Only worn once, today, so can't help you on the how long they'll last front!
 
Thanks everyone, CSYMolly im trying to avoid the Ariats as ive known quite a few people that have had them and zip's broke, soulds come off etc so i don't really want to risk it

Mountain Horse Stirling boots are what I ride and will compete in this year. They are really really comfy, polish up lovely, really smart boots.
 
I love my moutain horse ones, they are leather and have laces. They dont sell that style any longer but for fit, looks and lasting ability I would recommend them. I have had mine for 4 years - all be it not worn everyday but still ...

Those windsor Mountain horse boots are identical to the ones I'm talking about... the only difference being that they have zips at the front and the Stirling don't.
 
I have the mountain horse sport joddy boots and the toggi ottowa boots. The MH ones are so comfy, but not very waterproof.
The ottowa boots rub like mad and are awful to ride in.
 
I second Ariats! I have the Heritage zip ones and they cost about £70. They have just started to get holes in them but i've had them 1 1/2 years and not really looked after them, i've worn them every day and not just for riding but for mucking out, down the field etc. and only cleaned them before a show and they scrub up brillianty, so i think they've lasted pretty well, they look really smart and are so comfy!
