Jodphur Sizing- Childs or Adults

I have always worn childrens 26 inch jodphurs as im relatively small and having a bit of a stupid moment here do the kids and adults sizes which are both 26inch come up the same size?

No, I find they don't. Even if the actual waistband is the same, kids sizes don't allow for hips, bum etc, & are shorter in the leg.

I buy kids ones as well, no vat but 26" in childrens is about a 22" in adults

Brilliant thank you, cant find any adults 22" so i will have to go adults 24" in some of the jods i wanted.

My daughter is a size 10 and fits into the Pikeur 176 cm Sioux jods, and they have lasted her years.

Legs are shorter and narrower in childrens, that is why I wear them
