Hey
does anyone know what size jodphurs (in cm or inches) I would take, I usually take a size 6/8.
can't find a tape-measure and I need some a.s.a.p!
thanks,
Ellie.

24" are close to the smallest I can see following a quick flick through my trusty DH catalogue! (KP free!!!!

I'm a 6/8 and buy 24 inch waist but normally get breeches as the legs are shorter. Mind you have to make sure that they have slim fitting legs too which is a bit limiting

Just looked it up and a size 8 is 24" for jods.

Dublin say a 10 is a 24" - I'd check the manufacturer's website.

I think it does very much depend on manufacturer!

Or what you can do, if buy kids jods instead

Much cheaper but as I wear long boots or chaps you can't tell they areb't long enough

I made mistake of equating jeans sizes to jods sizes. So I thought, I am size 12, 30in waist, need the same in jods. They hung off me as if I hadn't eaten for a month. Went down a size, they were fine

Bought some breeches the other day, I'm a size 8, I'm sure I have around a 27 inch waist, but the Horka ones I bought were a 24" and fit beautifully!

Problem I find with jods / breeches is that you have to try them on as they all fit differently depending on the make.

Madmav - just read your post, seems that I'm doing the same as you and assuming my jeans size is the same as jods size!

I have just loaded some jodhpurs onto our website and tried some on at the same time as I have to get in there first-perk of the job as they say. Anyway a 24" would be a 8-10 and a 26" would be a 10-12 etc etc.
