Hi Guys, was just wondering what people think of this Judge because at a county show I found him incredibly rude.

Has any body else had any experiences with him like this, or was he just having a bad day?

he used to have a yard or two round the wantage area and i have met him a couple of times a while ago. He had what i am tactfully going to call a 'certain reputation'

but he was perfectly pleasant on those occasions i met him!
 
Hi ya, I'm pretty new to this showing lark, so far all the judges I have had have been incredibly polite and respectful. John however seemed the complete opposite

Oh so maybe he was having a bad day, I think I might just avoid him now though. if I see him down as a judge. When you put alot of time effort and money in to something it would just be nice to have a bit of respect
 
Gone to France! Agree - name rings a BIG bell from Scotland!! But can't quite place the face. LOOOONG time ago now though, so must be getting on a bit!!!

Would love to have memory jogged though, because I think he was quite a character even then!!!

Yes went to Romsey, I don't really want to say too much. I don't want people to think it was sour grapes because its not, I can understand why he did what he did.

But there is a way of talking to people and we didn't feel he was very professional about the situation.

Thanks for all the posts, its nice to hear that he is a bit of a character and I think from now on we will just avoid him! lol
