brill...thankyou.
has anyone been taught by him? would love to know how he is with horses, and how he teaches...anyone? i suppose he is in shropshire...it is pretty remote and isolated!!also does anyonme know what is bow house farm is like?

Had Bow House Sydney at 4*, his wife is now OPNing the horse after some time off post-Chatsworth.

Bow House has 3 outdoor schools and a good range of SJs IIRC and some xc schooling fields. JP is a reasonably good trainer, makes you work hard and more reasonably priced than a lot of other trainers.

As for isolated - Bow House isn't too bad really, provided your lorry doesn't mind hills. All depends where you are though!

Went to see him a few years back to try 2 horses he had for sale. He was very helpful and seemed a nice enough guy. Horses rode well, but weren't quite what i was looking for at the time.

Facilities at Bow House are excellent, and both JP and Caroline are very friendly, helpful and obliging.
JP is a sympathetic trainer, quickly identifies horse and rider weakness and works to improve rather than any quick fix.
He chats a bit, and is pleasing to the eye!
It is very easy to get to, only 15 mins off A49.
Well worth a visit, and they run regular winter shows.
