Hiya, im not a big follower of all the methods but we use this for all our babies at work, we do about 10 horses and ponies over the summer. It builds up a good trust with the horse, i find that once i can get join up i can usually get a roller and saddle on without many problems. Not all horses will do join up though, these are usually the harder to back ones. Its worth a go if your doing a youngster, or you can do it to an older horse. Its not going to do your horse any damge.
