Last weekend, but I've just got the video. If anyone would like to hear me chatter my way round a full 5 minute xc round turn the sound up ?
Dressage was nice for 30.8, happy enough with that he stayed rhythmic and consistent if a little on the forehand throughout. Disappointing final halt as he moved but corrected it. Had a lovely wry smile with the judge at the end over it. I think we'd probably have crept sub 30 without that.
Showjumping warm up was sticky, had a stop and almost an off from me, we dropped the spread a little came again ok then popped back up to 90 + absolutely fine. Had a smooth round with one unlucky pole and one where he just got a bit under a fence. However he jumped the double the best he's ever done one in competition so that's progress.
XC warm up I kept brief, he's a big lad and his first 90 round a hilly course. He's well nailed the start box these days and fires out like a pro.
The course rode really well, significantly extended from the arena eventing field and as kelsall generally is it was bold and nice to attack. I'll let the video speak for itself though (literally)

You'd have trouble explaining that name in different company ?

Bless, he's never going to threaten a TB for speed but he's got a neat pop, hasn't he?

I know right ??
He's a dude, lots had time but he's bold and fun, his dressage is strong and he's certainly been top 10 at 80 a few times now. The 90 times will defeat him I think but he's having a ball trying

That was a lot of fun to watch. Well done you two. ?

I would love a shot on that canter. It looks so different. Is he comfy?
Thanks all
He's very bouncy @Peglo
I get pinged about all over the place tbh, I can sit on him better than I used to be able to but honestly I've sat on some properly springy warmbloods that were easier to sit to than him. When he's going and you're in light seat he feels mega though

he does look it, although you ride him beautifully. But it does look like a big canter.
