I joined the other day and forgot to introduce myself! There isn't much to say as I don't own my own *devastation smiley* but have been learning to ride for over two years now. After two years at the same school I've finally picked up on the bad attitude of the place  and moved myself somewhere more professional and am hopefully going to start improving at last

I've been reading with interest the threads about general RS standards and intend to learn lots from you guys so hi :D

Hi and welcome.

You will learn a lot here and if you have any questions, fire away!

What type of horses are you riding at the moment? What direction would you be thinking of pursuing? I mainly hack with a little Show Jumping, dressage and schooling thrown in.

Thanks for the welcome :)

The new place has well-schooled cob-types for different ability levels. Previously, though, I've also ridden sport horses (if that is an actual breed!), Cleveland Bay, ex-racer TBs and everything in between with napping, bucking, bolting etc etc :p

Tbh I don't know what direction I'll be going in until I've re-learnt my basics but I'd love to be able to enter local comps in all sorts, stressage, SJ and XC - did a charity walk/trot test after my 4th lesson  My new RS has a great XC course with a new water jump but I'm just excited to be 'starting fresh' :D
