Hi I am looking at joining the Pony Club, however I turned 21 in December. Does this mean I am too late, I know if you are an existing member can can ride till you are 25 and you can join up to 21. But now I am 21 can I still join? Hope that makes sense.

Thankyou

I think you probably still could join but I don't know if it's the same in your area but most people in my area didn't really do pony club past about age 17 (though this was quite some time ago) not that it should be a problem but it might be worth bearing in mind. You could always check for a contact on the pony club website who might be able to tell you for sure.

Have you considered a local riding club instead? They perhaps don't always have such a varied calendar as pony club but there are some excellent riding clubs out there.

Im 22 and still in PC, I ride in a few of our teams but mainly working towards my AH & A tests. Have also just come back from our area accosiate camp where we were all over 18. We had sessions with Kennith Clawson and a sports physcologist. We also had talks from Paul Tapner and Laura Bechtolsheimer.

There are lots of us over 18 in our pony club (well, it should have, since its the 2nd largest in uk!)
Infact, my team for area sj tomorrow ages are 18,19,19,21!

But I think you can only be an associate member if you have been a member previously?
